Finding Fragrance Oils that Throw Well in Soy Wax

Soy candle makers are continually looking to get the best scent throw they can from their soy candles, so fragrance plays a major role in soy candle making. There are many different fragrances and suppliers of fragrance oils and it can be tough trying to find scents that throw really well in soy wax and who carries the best fragrances.

Soy candle makers are always trying for a strong hot fragrance throw. Even though a soy candle may have a great cold throw, that does not mean that it will have a strong hot throw.

This is why you need to buy the right fragrance oils. You don't want to dump a lot of money into a bunch of fragrance oils and then they don't perform well!

Not all fragrance oils throw well in soy wax candles. It's important to purchase oils that are specifically for soy wax or are known to have a good throw in soy.

I have listed fragrance oils from various suppliers that I've had good experience with and the oils have a nice hot throw in soy wax. You can get 1oz samples of fragrance oils from many suppliers so you can test them out before buying larger quantities.

Also, a fragrance oil from a certain company may throw great, but the same fragrance from another company may not. Fragrance oils can be different from one company to another. Some may use the same manufacturer though, so they may have some of the same fragrances.

When I was looking for the best coffee fragrance oil, I purchased samples from four different suppliers and they all smelled different. The coffee fragrance from Candlesoylutions is the one I ended up going with because I thought it smelled the most true to black coffee. (I use the maximum amount since coffee fragrances don't have as strong of a scent throw)
